AP Rating

The Odyssey of the Seas is one of the newest ships in Royal Caribbean’s lineup. She officially set sail in 2021 and is part of the Quantum Ultra Class—basically an upgraded, next-level version of the already high-tech Quantum Class ships. She’s sleek, super modern, and totally loaded with fun stuff to do.

She holds around 4,200 passengers at double occupancy, and with crew, you’re looking at over 5,500 people onboard. What makes her stand out? Well, you’ve got a skydiving simulator, a massive indoor sports complex called SeaPlex, the North Star viewing pod, and even virtual reality experiences. It’s all very next-gen, but still comfy and easy to get around.

Most of the time, Odyssey of the Seas is cruising around the Caribbean or the Mediterranean. In the winter, she usually sails out of Florida, hitting tropical hotspots like Aruba and Curacao. During summer months, she often switches it up with routes around Greece, Italy, and the eastern Med. Basically, sunshine is her thing.

If you’re looking for a cruise ship that’s flashy but not overwhelming, high-energy but still relaxing when you need it, Odyssey of the Seas hits the sweet spot. It’s perfect for folks who want a mix of cool tech, great food, solid entertainment, and sunny destinations—all rolled into one floating resort.
