Norwegian Prima Ship Overview 2026
Norwegian Prima is a Norwegian Cruise Line ship and the lead vessel of NCL’s Prima Class. Built in 2022, she is listed by NCL at 143,535 gross tons, 294 m / 965 ft in overall length and 3,195 passengers at double occupancy. CruiseMapper lists the ship with 20 decks.
Current published itineraries are mainly Caribbean-based, with repeated 7-day round trips from Port Canaveral to ports such as Great Stirrup Cay, Cozumel, Jamaica, Grand Cayman and the Dominican Republic. Later schedules include Southern Caribbean sailings from San Juan, followed by longer repositioning and Europe/Iceland/UK routes from ports including Civitavecchia, Barcelona, Southampton, Reykjavik and Copenhagen.
The onboard casino is Prima Casino, located on Deck 6 in the Penrose Atrium area. The deck plan also identifies VIP and smoking casino space on the same deck. The atmosphere is modern and central rather than tucked away: the casino sits near bars, retail and the atrium flow, making it a high-traffic evening venue with a more upscale Prima-class design than older NCL ships.
