MSC World Europa is MSC Cruises’ first World‑class flagship, measuring 333.3 meters and 215,863 gross tons. She carries up to 6,762 guests in 2,626 staterooms with around 2,138 crew. Built by Chantiers de l’Atlantique and delivered in October 2022, the LNG‑powered ship debuted in Doha and served as a floating hotel during the FIFA World Cup. Her futuristic profile pairs a plumb bow with a dramatic Y‑shaped stern that opens onto the 104‑meter open‑air World Promenade. Highlights include The Venom Drop @ The Spiral, an 11‑deck dry slide; the indoor World Galleria beneath a kinetic LED dome; 13 dining venues and more than 20 bars, including a microbrewery pouring Oceanic beers brewed with desalinated seawater.

Out on deck are seven pools and multiple whirlpools, expansive family zones, and an enlarged two‑deck MSC Yacht Club with a private pool, restaurant, lounge, and 24‑hour butler service. Sustainability features include dual‑fuel engines capable of running on LNG, shore‑power readiness, advanced wastewater treatment, and a 150‑kW solid‑oxide fuel‑cell pilot that supplies low‑emission auxiliary power. The ship typically sails seven‑night Mediterranean loops calling Barcelona, Marseille, Genoa, Naples, Messina, and Valletta.
