MSC World America is MSC Cruises’ new Miami-based flagship designed specifically for the U.S. market. Entering service on April 12, 2025, the roughly 216,000-gross-ton World-class ship sails year-round from PortMiami on alternating seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries, with every voyage calling at Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve in the Bahamas. Built by Chantiers de l’Atlantique as the second vessel in the World class, she blends MSC’s European style with American comforts and pacing tailored to U.S. travelers.

At 22 decks and with space for about 6,700 guests at double occupancy, MSC World America functions as a floating resort organized into lively neighborhoods. LNG virtually eliminates sulfur oxides and particulates compared with conventional marine fuels and meaningfully lowers nitrogen oxides; it also enables a pathway to drop-in bio-LNG and synthetic e-LNG in the future. MSC says the ship achieves an industry-leading Energy Efficiency Design Index score among contemporary cruise ships, reflecting a hydrodynamic hull and extensive energy-saving systems.
