MSC Sinfonia is a cozy and elegant ship in MSC Cruises’ Lirica-class, originally built in 2002 by Chantiers de l’Atlantique in France as MS European Stars and acquired by MSC in 2005. In 2015, she underwent a Renaissance refit that added a 24-meter midsection with about 193 cabins, increasing her capacity and modernizing her amenities.

The vessel spans approximately 275 m (902 ft) and weighs about 65,542 GT, with accommodations for around 1,950 to 2,646 guests depending on the configuration, supported by a crew of roughly 721. Inside, the ship features two main dining rooms, a self-serve buffet, cafeteria, and a spacious two-deck high show lounge for nightly entertainment.

Guests enjoy a range of leisure options: two outdoor pools, two jacuzzis, a family spray park, a dedicated casino, several bars, a disco, and a library. The MSC Yacht Club is not currently offered onboard, but the ship includes a spa, sports deck, jogging track, bowling, and 4D cinema for light entertainment.

MSC Sinfonia typically cruises the Mediterranean and South America, offering a classic cruising experience with Mediterranean flair, relaxed pacing, and approachable pricing. As one of MSC’s older yet refreshed vessels, she blends traditional charm with modern upgrades—making her ideal for families and couples seeking a serene sea voyage.
