MSC Magnifica Overview and AP Status 2025

Overall rating

AP Rating

MSC Magnifica is a Musica‑class ship delivered by STX France in 2010. She measures about 293.8 m (964 ft) with 95,128 GT and typically carries roughly 2,500 guests at double occupancy, up to about 3,223 at full capacity, with just over 1,000 crew. A three‑deck atrium sets an elegant tone, while the leisure deck plan balances open‑air spaces with an all‑weather indoor pool beneath a retractable Magrodome—ideal for shoulder‑season Mediterranean sailing.

Guests find a near‑1,200‑seat Royal Theater for nightly production shows, the Atlantic City Casino on Deck 7, and a large Aurea Spa & Fitness complex of about 1,160 m² with thermal suite, treatment rooms and a full gym. Dining spans the main restaurants L’Edera and Quattro Venti plus Oriental Plaza and the casual Sahara and L’Oasi buffets, complemented by lively bars such as Tiger, Ruby and Topazio. Looking ahead, MSC will add the MSC Yacht Club during a major refit, introducing private suites, a Top Sail Lounge, and a dedicated sundeck with pool; bookings open from summer 2026, with additional upgrades following earlier refurbishment plans that expanded outdoor space and family areas.
