AP Rating

MSC Divina is a Fantasia‑class ship built by STX France (Chantiers de l’Atlantique) and delivered on May 19, 2012, then christened in Marseille on May 26 by longtime MSC godmother Sophia Loren—who is honored on board with a dedicated red‑themed suite. The 333‑meter vessel measures 139,072 gross tons and is designed for up to 4,345 guests in 1,751 staterooms with about 1,388 crew. Technical highlights include diesel‑electric propulsion, twin fixed‑pitch propellers, four bow thrusters and a service speed of about 23 knots.

ivina’s Italianate glamour centers on a multi‑deck atrium with Swarovski crystal staircases and the private MSC Yacht Club, offering a lounge, restaurant, pool and 24‑hour butler service. Outdoors, three main pools include the chic aft infinity‑style Garden Pool, while families find a lively Sportplex and varied entertainment. Dining spans the American‑style Butcher’s Cut steakhouse, Kaito Sushi & Teppanyaki and casual venues, complemented by bars and lounges with nightly live music and theater productions. Divina splits her time between the Caribbean and Mediterranean, including Miami deployments since 2013.
