Carnival Vista is operated by Carnival Cruise Line, part of Carnival Corporation & plc. Built by Fincantieri at the Monfalcone yard in Italy, the ship was delivered on April 28, 2016 and began service with a May 1 maiden voyage from Trieste to Barcelona.

At roughly 133,600 gross tons and about 1,055 feet long with a 122-foot beam, Carnival Vista carries about 3,934 guests at double occupancy and a crew of around 1,450. These figures align with Fincantieri’s technical specs and Carnival’s deck plan facts.

Dining spans the spectrum from two main dining rooms to a strong mix of casual and specialty spots. Expect included favorites like Guy’s Burger Joint, BlueIguana Cantina, the Lido Marketplace and Pizzeria del Capitano, alongside for-fee venues such as Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse, Cucina del Capitano, JiJi Asian Kitchen, Bonsai Sushi, Seafood Shack and The Chef’s Table; across the ship there are about ten restaurants/food bars in total.

Beyond the restaurants, Vista is packed with big-ticket attractions, including SkyRide Carnival’s pedal-powered aerial track an expansive WaterWorks aquapark, the Havana Bar & Pool area, the adults-only Serenity retreat, the Cloud 9 Spa, and the first IMAX Theater at sea. Family Harbor and Cloud 9 Spa stateroom zones add dedicated lounges and perks to the mix.

Today the ship primarily sails the Caribbean from Port Canaveral, offering six- and eight-day itineraries that rotate among Eastern and Southern Caribbean routes, with example sailings published through 2026 and beyond. Typical calls include ports like Amber Cove, Grand Turk, San Juan, Aruba and Curaçao, depending on the itinerary.
