Carnival Venezia is operated by Carnival Cruise Line, part of Carnival Corporation & plc. The ship was originally built by Fincantieri in Monfalcone, Italy, and delivered on February 28, 2019, as Costa Venezia before officially transferring to Carnival on March 22, 2023; it debuted for the brand that May from New York under the “Fun Italian Style” concept and was christened in New York City on June 14, 2023, by godfather Jay Leno.

In size, the ship comes in at about 135,225 gross tons, measures roughly 1,061 feet long with a 122-foot beam, and carries around 4,090 guests at double occupancy with a crew of roughly 1,400. Those headline specs and capacities are drawn from Carnival’s deck plan and industry references.
