Carnival Paradise is operated by Carnival Cruise Line, part of Carnival Corporation & plc. She’s the final ship of the Fantasy class and has sailed for Carnival since new.

The ship was built by Kvaerner Masa-Yards in Helsinki and entered service in 1998. She measures about 71,925 gross tons, is roughly 855 feet long, and typically carries around 2,124 guests at double occupancy with about 920 crew.

Dining on Paradise is compact and classic Carnival rather than specialty-heavy: two main dining rooms serve as the nightly anchors, and you’ll find roughly eight primary spots overall when you include Guy’s Burger Joint, BlueIguana Cantina, Lido Marketplace, Pizza Pirate, the Carnival Deli, Swirls, 24-hour room service, and the for-fee Chef’s Table offered once per cruise. Bonsai Sushi Express appears on some sailings as a grab-and-go option.

Beyond dining, the ship offers a WaterWorks splash park with slides, multiple pools and hot tubs, the 21+ Serenity retreat, a mini-golf course, a fitness center and spa, and the usual Carnival entertainment like Playlist Productions shows, a piano bar, and The Punchliner Comedy Club. Recent work included updates to areas like Serenity and the casino.

Carnival Paradise is homeported in Tampa, Florida, and mostly runs short Western Caribbean and Bahamas getaways. Typical routes include four-day Tampa–Cozumel loops and longer sailings that mix Key West, Nassau, and Carnival’s new Celebration Key. These itineraries operate year-round from Tampa.
