Carnival Glory Overview and AP Status 2026

Carnival Glory is operated by Carnival Cruise Line, part of Carnival Corporation & plc, and belongs to the Conquest class. She entered service in 2003 after being built by Fincantieri at the Monfalcone shipyard in Italy. The ship was christened on July 19, 2003, and has remained in active service since.

In terms of size, Carnival Glory measures roughly 110,000 gross tons, is about 952 feet (290 meters) long and 116 feet (35.5 meters) wide, with a design draft around 27 feet (8.2 meters). These figures come from the builder’s technical sheet and industry records.

At double occupancy, the ship carries about 2,980 guests, with around 1,150 crew members looking after them. The vessel spans 13 passenger decks and typically cruises at about 22–23 knots.

Dining is a big part of the experience: Carnival Glory features two main dining rooms plus a buffet and a range of casual and specialty spots such as Guy’s Burger Joint, BlueIguana Cantina, the Steakhouse, Seafood Shack, the Carnival Deli, and the Lido Marketplace. Several aggregators list a total of about 10 restaurants/venues on board, which reflects the mix of included and extra-charge options available on a typical sailing.

Beyond dining, you’ll find multiple pools and whirlpools, a WaterWorks slide complex, a large fitness and spa area, theater entertainment, and adults-only Serenity deck space, all characteristic of the Conquest-class layout and refreshed over periodic refits, most recently in 2024.

As for where the ship sails, Carnival Glory is currently based in Port Canaveral, Florida, running short 3- and 4-night Bahamas itineraries that typically call at Nassau and Carnival’s new private destination, Celebration Key. Deployment can change seasonally, but late-2025 schedules show repeated Port Canaveral roundtrips on these routes.
