Carnival Conquest is a Conquest-class cruise ship operated by Carnival Cruise Line. Built at Fincantieri’s yard in Italy and registered in Panama, she entered service in 2002 and has remained in active operation with the brand. At double occupancy the ship carries 2,980 guests with a crew of about 1,150.

In size terms, Conquest measures about 110,000 gross tons. She’s roughly 953 feet long (about 290 meters), 116 feet wide, and draws around 27 feet, typical proportions for her class and era. The ship was constructed by Fincantieri; the builder lists main characteristics consistent with the published figures, including an overall length of ~290.2 meters and a design draught of 8.2 meters.

Dining on Carnival Conquest centers on two main dining rooms plus a Lido buffet, surrounded by a lineup of casual spots such as Guy’s Burger Joint and BlueIguana Cantina; you’ll also usually find a for-fee steakhouse and other grab-and-go venues. The exact count can vary by refits and deployment, but in practice you’ll encounter roughly eight to a dozen places to eat across complimentary and specialty options.

Beyond dining, Conquest offers 13 passenger decks with staples like multiple pools and hot tubs, a spa and fitness center, kids’ and teens’ clubs, theater entertainment, and the usual Carnival bars and lounges. As a mid-sized “Fun Ship,” it’s designed for lively, casual cruising with familiar venues rather than the mega-resort extras seen on the newest ships.
