The line sails a fleet of 11 mid-sized ships, a mix that includes newer builds alongside refreshed favorites. The overall design approach emphasizes comfortable public spaces, ocean views, and a calmer onboard rhythm that supports longer voyages as well as weeklong itineraries. Holland America has also highlighted that the ship Rotterdam joined in 2021 as the fleet’s 11th vessel, reinforcing its measured approach to growth.

Recent fleet investments include ongoing maintenance and dry-dock projects. For example, Zuiderdam returned to service in December 2025 after a two-week dry dock with refreshed public spaces and stateroom updates, signaling continued focus on keeping the onboard product current.
